"I had a crush on Ali MacGraw.  And ah in the story, in the film I have a dance sequence with her.  I took that excitement of me having a crush and I made that part of my scene, the excitement of that scene.  I just let that kind of flow and glow through me. I don’t know what Ali was working on but it was, ah, it was great for me."
